Job description

Title: Tractor Trailer Truck Driver - Hourly
Location: Knox, IN
Salary: *$1,598.80 weekly guarantee.
*Must be available for work the entire week for a weekly guarantee. Position also provides other incentives and opportunities for additional bonuses throughout the year.

Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver Essential Job Functions:
  • Operates tractor-trailer delivering materials to customers and picking up raw materials.
  • Inspects trailer, semi-tractor, and power pallet jack for safe operation.
  • Operates powered walk-behind jack to unload and stage material as needed.
  • Maintains driver log according to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.
  • Ensures all customers' shipping requirements are followed and executed.
  • Performs safety checks and standard maintenance.
  • Adheres to all safety requirements, such as wearing required PPE.

Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver Position Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A minimum of three years of recent related work experience is required.
  • Valid CDL Class A with Hazmat Endorsement license.
  • Daily travel required, with occasional overnights and Saturday deliveries.
  • Ability to operate a powered industrial truck utilizing a gas pedal and brake, if needed
  • Ability to climb trailer and cab ladders, sit, stand for prolonged periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Operate a powered walk-behind power jack to assist with offboarding product.
  • Must be willing and able to work in weather elements and extreme temperatures.
