Job description

The Investment Operations Associate supports the Investment Subsidiary and Portfolio Management team by performing core operational functions that enable the effective management of client investment portfolios. This role is responsible for supporting the full trade lifecycle, maintaining accurate portfolio records, and producing recurring reports that support internal teams and client deliverables.

This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The position also utilizes technology, data tools, and evolving systems to support reporting accuracy and improve operational workflows.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the execution and settlement of investment trades, including preparing trade tickets, tracking status, and assisting in resolving settlement issues with brokers and custodians.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of traderelated documentation, including pre and posttrade processes and confirmations.
  • Contribute to the preparation and distribution of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for client investment portfolios.
  • Assist in the production and review of daily cash reports, and support cash management processes by identifying and escalating variances.
  • Support reconciliation of portfolio data and reporting outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Work with portfolio managers and team members to support cash projections and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in the setting up of new client accounts by gathering required documentation and coordinating with brokers, custodians, and thirdparty providers.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records related to client portfolios, broker relationships, and required documentation, including support for FINRA, W9s, and other regulatory materials.
  • Provide support for audit, compliance, and due diligence requests by compiling and organizing required information.
  • Utilize Excel, AIenabled tools and internal systems to track, validate, and manage data, while identifying opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency through technology and process enhancements.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to follow up on outstanding items and ensure timely resolution of operational tasks.
  • Provide backup support for operational functions, including wire processing and other timesensitive activities, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the investment operations team.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s or Associateโ€™s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in financial services, operations, accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadlinedriven environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document, follow up, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly, with an interest in leveraging technology to improve efficiency and workflow accuracy.
  • Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and accountability in completing assigned tasks.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment.
