Role: Warehouse Associate - Fixed-Term Contract
Reports to: Warehouse Managers
Scope: Individual Contributor, O2
Location: Reno, NV or Verdi, NV, On-site
Contract Duration: Warehouse Associate (Swing Shift: July 6th- September 24th) (Day Shift: July 6th- September 25th)
Schedule: Day Shift: Monday - Friday; 6:30am - 3:00pm / Swing Shift: Sunday - Thursday; 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Compensation: Hiring Rate: $22.05 (day) or $24.05 (swing)

General Summary
As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform multiple tasks and processes associated with operations of the Patagonia Reno Service Center. Although your primary responsibilities will be in the Shipping department, this role is cross-functional and there may be opportunities to assist in other departments within the distribution center, including but not limited to Inventory Control, Receiving, Returns, Worn Wear, or Repair Processing, as needed. All these functions are critical to the success of Patagonia and Patagonia meeting its mission to save our home planet.
What You'll Do:
  • Shipping: Picking, Packing, and Shipping merchandise for the four divisions of Patagonia; Mail Order, Retail, Wholesale and International.
  • Inventory Control: Sort and put back to shelf returns from Direct, Wholesale and Retail customers.
  • Receiving: Assist in the unloading, receiving, and palletizing of inbound shipments.
  • Returns (Guarantee Services): Process all direct and wholesale returns efficiently and accurately.
  • Quality Control: Work with Reno Quality Auditor staff performing 100 % inspections to meet Patagonia Quality Standards; includes, but not limited to: managing workflow, organizing paperwork and communication of project results.
  • Repair Processing: Intaking and evaluating all incoming direct from consumer repairs to determine repairability.
  • Worn Wear: intake and evaluate customer trade-ins, prep, pick and pack customer orders.

Experience You Bring:
  • Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required.

Hours of Operation
  • Day Shift Shipping: Monday - Friday; 6:30am - 3:00pm / Swing Shift Shipping: Sunday - Thursday; 3:00pm - 11:30pm.
  • Must be willing to work other days of the week if necessary.
  • Extended hours occur during holidays and peak season.

This position is On-Site, requiring employees to work at our Reno, NV and/or Verdi, NV facilities during scheduled working hours.
