Job description

RC Mowers | We're Hiring
Marketing Coordinator
Full-Time • Hybrid (On-site 3+ days/week)
We're hiring a Marketing Coordinator to keep RC Mowers' marketing function moving - and, over time, take on additional responsibilities.
This role coordinates a wide variety of marketing-related activities, including campaigns, content, tradeshows, website publishing, asset development, and the marketing projects calendar.
As you grow in the role, the role may expand. If you're a strong coordinator looking for a place to step up, this is that step.
THE JOB
You'll report directly to the CEO and work closely with our marketing agency, which provides strategy, creative direction, and day-to-day marketing guidance. Your job is to help turn that direction into executed work: campaigns, content updates, tradeshow support, vendor coordination, branded materials, timelines, and follow-through. You will also work closely with Engineering, Service and other departments as new products launch and new promotional materials are needed.
A typical week might mean coordinating a tradeshow shipment Monday, reviewing creative deliverables from the agency Tuesday, publishing a blog post and updating the website Wednesday, sourcing branded merch Thursday, and prepping the next campaign launch Friday.
Multiple projects move at once. Priorities shift. The thing that holds it all together is you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Project coordination
  • Own timelines, status, and follow-through across all marketing projects
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact with our marketing agency and other vendors
  • Review deliverables for quality, accuracy, and brand consistency
  • Keep internal teams informed on marketing initiatives, launches, and timelines
  • Build and document the internal processes that make marketing repeatable

Content & digital
  • Maintain and execute the content calendar
  • Publish and update website and blog content (WordPress)
  • Update templated materials in Canva
  • Monitor day-to-day social activity (LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and route opportunities to the right people

Media, lists & industry targeting
  • Research industry publications, associations, and sponsorship opportunities
  • Evaluate print and digital advertising options; coordinate contracts, insertion orders, and deadlines
  • Build and maintain targeted industry lists (contractors, municipalities, dealers, etc.)
  • Track ad performance and manage vendor relationships

Tradeshows & production
  • Coordinate tradeshow logistics with our Sales Operations Manager - booth, signage, shipping, readiness
  • Support pre-event marketing and post-event follow-up
  • Coordinate photo and video production with internal teams and external vendors

Brand & merch
  • Source and order branded merchandise to company standards
  • Keep marketing assets organized and accessible to the rest of the team

WHAT YOU BRING
  • 2-4 years in marketing coordination or a similar execution-heavy role
  • Strong project management instincts - you keep multiple plates spinning without dropping them
  • Clear written and verbal communication; comfort working with senior people inside and outside the company
  • Comfort managing deadlines and shifting priorities without losing your footing
  • Familiarity with social platforms and basic marketing tools

BONUS POINTS
  • B2B, industrial, landscaping, or equipment industry experience
  • WordPress, Canva, and marketing automation tools
  • Tradeshow or field marketing support
  • Agency-side experience or experience working closely with an outside agency

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You'll work closely with our Sales Operations Manager and the sales team to make sure marketing delivers what they need - collateral, tradeshow support, lead flow, and everything in between. Marketing exists here to make sales effective, and that connection runs through this role.
You'll also interact with engineering, service, and operations on a regular basis. There's no marketing team to coordinate with - you are the marketing team.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
RC Mowers builds autonomous and remote-controlled mowing equipment for difficult environments - steep slopes, hazardous terrain, labor-constrained operations. We sell to municipalities, DOTs, and commercial contractors across North America. We're a growing, profitable company shipping real machines to real customers.
We're based near Green Bay, Wisconsin. The company is under 50 people. You'll know everyone's name within a week.
HOW TO STAND OUT
Tell us about a marketing project, campaign, event, or program you owned end-to-end. We want to know:
What was the goal?
What did you actually do?
What broke or surprised you?
How did you handle it?
What would you do differently next time?
Examples, links, decks, or work samples are welcome.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation commensurate with experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and sick leave, and disability, life, and accident insurance.
Hiring is subject to a pre-employment background check and drug screening. RC Mowers provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
