ABOUT THE JOB

Looking for a proven Marketing Trade Show Manager to lead our U.S. trade show strategy, planning, and execution in support of our growing international pursuits. The ideal candidate for this role thrives in engaging and managing executives, coordinating VIP engagements, and can translate high-level strategy into tangible activations and plans. The role will require someone who is extremely organized, detail oriented, and can manage multiple priorities and projects in parallel. The right hire should also enjoy travel. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Strategy & Planning: Define strategy and objectives for the company across each show and activate various business lines and stakeholders. Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-year U.S. trade show strategy aligned with global marketing and business development objectives.
  • Strategic Engagements and Exec Coordination: Coordinate VIP visits, media interviews, and speaking engagements at international events. Manage and prep executives schedule and messages for successful engagements that drive the business.
  • Content and Messaging: Collaborate with product, sales, business development, and marketing teams to develop compelling event content, demos, presentations, and messaging tailored to regional and cultural nuances.
  • Show Logistics & Operations: Work with internal teams to coordinate all logistical elements for U.S. events, including venue selection, booth design and construction, equipment rental, and on-site services.
  • Show Management: Lead on-site execution of trade shows, serving as the primary point of contact for event organizers, vendors, and Anduril staff. Proactively address any issues or challenges that arise during the event, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills under pressure.
  • Budget and ROI: Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines, from initial forecasting to final reconciliation. Conduct thorough post-event analysis, including lead quality, attendee feedback, media coverage, and budget adherence to determine business impact.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4+ years of experience in events marketing, with an added bonus if within the Defense industry.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives and effectively communicate technical concepts.
  • Self-starter and self-sufficient - able to take overall strategy and guidance into concrete options and execution plans.
  • Inherent curiosity and eagerness to learn and internalize the unique language, culture, and challenges of military operations and applications.
  • You are thick skinned, resourceful and mission driven. Humble by nature. Confident in your ability to deliver at an exceptional level.
  • Domestic travel up to 50%
  • Collaborative, strategic, and highly organized-able to work across teams and disciplines, driving clarity and path forward across differing perspectives and opinions.
  • A deep belief in Anduril's mission to support national security through technological superiority.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
