Trade Analyst - Duty Mitigation (Enhanced Data & Analytics Focus)

Position Summary

The Trade Analyst plays a critical role in advancing the effectiveness, scalability, and maturity of global trade operations. This roleis responsible forarchitecting, developing, and delivering scalable data, analytics, andidentifyingautomation solutions that transform data into strategic insight and enable compliant, efficient execution of duty mitigation initiatives.
This individualleveragesenterprise data architecture, data modeling, and advanced analytics to support integrated reporting frameworks, and predictive insights, while enablinga strong foundationfor self-service analytics across trade operations.

Duty Mitigation Strategy and Regulatory Compliance

Support and enhance global duty mitigation and tariff management initiatives through data-driven analysis and scalable reporting solutions. Develop andmaintainknowledge of regulations including Free Trade Agreements and Duty Drawback.
Perform and oversee data validation, data quality monitoring, and governance practices to ensure compliance, audit readiness, and integrity of enterprise datasets supporting trade operations.

Data Analysis, Financial Reporting, and Insights

  • Design and develop data modelsoptimizedfor reporting, analytics, and advanced AI/ML consumption

  • Build queries, enterprise reports, dashboards, and data quality scorecards using Tableau, Power BI, and SQL

  • Enable self-service analytics through governed datasets and scalable reporting frameworks

  • Apply predictive analytics and machine learning models to generate forward-looking insights

  • Establish and enforce data governance, integrity, and quality standards across reporting environments

Process Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner cross-functionallywith Trade Operations, Finance, IT, and Supplier Account Management teams to support strategic initiatives and system enhancements. Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, actionable business insights and ensure alignment with enterprise data strategies.
Support development and standardization of SOPs, data governance frameworks, and control documentation to drive consistency and scalability.

Automation, Systems & Digital Enablement

  • Architect Robotics Process Automation (RPA) solutions for operational workflows and collaborate with RPA teams.

  • ArchitectAI/ML-driven solutions to support business decision-making and predictive analytics

  • Develop and manage data pipelines and integration workflows using platforms such as Databricks

  • Collaborate with ITgroupsto architect and enhance scalable data platforms, including integration, data warehousing, and search capabilities

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of enterprise data infrastructure supporting analytics, reporting, and AI use cases

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in trade compliance, analytics, or data-focused roles

  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and data visualization tools

  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
