As aย Senior Managerย supportingย ourย Corporate & Investment Bankingย practice,ย youย will lead client engagements focused on front-to-back operating model design, process optimization, and technology enablement acrossย institutional broker dealers, investmentย & digital-nativeย banks,ย and market infrastructure providers.ย 

The ideal candidate brings deepย expertiseย in capital markets operations (e.g., trade lifecycle, post-trade processing, middle office, or data management) combined with strong consulting, stakeholder management, and delivery leadership capabilities.ย 

Responsibilitiesย 

In this role, you are expected to:ย 

  • Demonstrateย Post-Trade Operationsย Expertise:ย Bring strong working knowledge ofย post-trade operations within capital marketsย includingย trade capture and booking, allocations, confirmations and affirmations,ย custodian,ย clearing and settlements, asset servicing, securities financing and collateral management, reconciliations and break managementย and market infrastructure environments.ย ย 

  • Apply Knowledge of Financial Marketsย &ย Products:ย Understand howย evolution to post-trade operationsย impactsย traditional financial products and market activities, including equities, fixed income, funds, collateral, securities financing, payments, clearing, settlement, custody, and corporate actions.ย ย 

  • Translate Technical Concepts into Business Solutions:ย Explain complexย post-trade operations conceptsย in a clear, practical way for senior business, operations, technology, risk, and regulatory stakeholders.ย ย 

  • Always on Markets:ย Identifyย howย changes to post-tradeย operations, includingย T+0 and continuous settlementsย andย extended tradingย impactsย front-to-back processes, including trade lifecycle, booking models, settlement processes, data flows, controls, reconciliation, client reporting, and integration with legacy platforms.ย ย 

  • Navigateย Regulatory,ย Riskย &ย Controlย Considerations:ย Understand the regulatory and control environment surroundingย post-trade settlements, including custody, recordkeeping, compliance, operational risk, third-party risk, data privacy, resiliency, and governance expectations.ย ย 

  • Shapeย Clientย Solutionsย &ย Deliveryย Approaches:ย Support clients in definingย post-tradeย operationย strategies, use cases, business cases,ย implementationย roadmaps, vendor or platform considerations, pilot design, testing approaches, and adoption plans.ย

  • Coach & Develop Teams:ย Supervise, mentor, and evaluate consultants and managers, set clear goals, provide feedback, address team challenges, and contribute to recruiting and capability-building efforts.ย

Qualifications

  • Education:ย Bachelor's degree inย Finance, Business or Engineeringย or a related field; master's degree preferred.ย ย 

  • Relevantย Experience:ย 10+ years of relevant work experience in management consultingย or industryย in Corporate and Investment Banking/Capital Markets or relevant roles in Financial Services, including Investment Banking, Sales and Trading, Fixed Income, Equities,ย Middleย Officeย or Asset Servicing.ย 

  • Direct, working knowledge ofpost-trade operations, market infrastructure, and relevant vendor solutions across trade capture, confirmations, clearing, settlement, custody, asset servicing, reconciliations, exceptions, collateral, securities financing, and operational controls.ย Experience with industry platforms (e.g.,ย Broadridge, FIS (Front Arena / Phase3),ย Fidessa, Murex (front-to-back), Calypso (front-to-back), ION Marketsย 

  • Sales & Business Development:ย Provenย abilityย to originate new business opportunities and create new revenue streams byย identifyingย client needs, developing relationships, shaping consulting solutions, and converting opportunities into sold work.ย 

  • Consultingย Skillset:ย Strong communicationย skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, ownership, teamwork, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.ย ย 

  • Location andย Travel:ย Based in or nearย New Yorkย with the ability to commute to client sites within the metro area as requiredย and occasional travel across US and Canada.ย ย
