Position:Trade Compliance Specialist - International Logistics
Job Description:

What You Will Be Doing:

International Opportunity Scoping & Solution Design

  • Evaluate international opportunities initiated by Sales by analyzing bill of materials (BOM), destination country requirements, vendor restrictions, and product specifications to determine feasibility and compliance requirements.

  • Assess export and import license requirements, product restrictions, encryption controls, and routing constraints prior to execution.

  • Review transactional flows to identify and mitigate international tax, nexus, and compliance exposure for Arrow, vendors, and customers.

  • Design export or local procurement solutions aligned to customer, vendor, and Arrow business requirements.

International Logistics Execution

  • Lead execution of international logistics solutions in coordination with third‑party service providers, based on defined Incoterms (DDP / DAP).

  • Determine required service levels and engage appropriate logistics providers for pricing and execution.

  • Serve as primary point of contact for Arrow and partners during execution, addressing commercial, operational, and pricing questions.

  • Coordinate shipment execution through LSP, IOR service provider and internal Arrow teams until successful delivery.

Export Documentation & Compliance Execution

  • Create, review, and gather commercial invoices as required by transaction structure.

  • Initiate and manage Trade Compliance review requests, including denied party screening, license determinations, HTS classification, CCATS, and export due diligence.

  • Capture and maintain encrypted export (ENC) shipment data and support semi‑annual ENC reporting requirements.

  • Gather and validate Lithium-Ion Battery compliance data (UN number, packing instructions, sections) and coordinate re-quotes as required.

  • Actively support Trade Compliance resolution efforts by coordinating additional data, documentation, and stakeholder inputs.

Tariff & Trade Strategy Support

  • Serve as point of coordination for tariff visibility and mitigation (i.e. Canada import flows).

  • Support implementation and execution of automated tariff mitigation strategies in partnership with Trade Operations and Compliance teams.

Data Governance, Reporting & Analytics

  • Maintain accurate records of all international opportunities and executed shipments

  • Ownership of shipment and trade data integrity supporting international programs.

  • Support Power BI dashboard development used by the business and Trade Operations leadership to assess program health, profitability, and risk exposure.

  • Partner with warehouse operations and IT teams to correct export documentation errors and reduce manual interventions.

  • Serve as liaison with trade teams to streamline export inbound workflows.

  • Act as a strategic liaison between Arrow and customers to enable international onboarding through compliance and operational coordination.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in international logistics execution and export operations.

  • Working knowledge of U.S. export control requirements, AES filings, ENC reporting, and trade documentation.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills across operational, financial, and compliance domains.

  • Experience in coordinating with 3rd‑party logistics providers (LSP and IOR service providers) and internal cross‑functional teams.

  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, tracking tools, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Oracle, Excel, Power BI).

  • Ability to manage multiple high‑risk activities with minimal redundancy or backup.

This role will perform work covered by International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Viable candidates for this position must be eligible for an export license or be a U.S. Person (which includes but is not limited to U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees).

Work Arrangement: This position will follow a hybrid schedule of 3 days in our office (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) and 2 days per week from home.

    Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
