Job description

The OES Operations team is critical to our trading business. We manage the processes that connect us to exchanges, counterparties, and internal teams - ensuring assets, information, and trades flow accurately and efficiently. As our desk expands into ETF and cash equities trading, we need a sharp, driven operations analyst to own critical workflows end-to-end while helping build the next generation of our operational infrastructure.
This role offers direct exposure to the fast-paced environment of front office trading. You will work alongside traders daily, supporting trading functions and ensuring seamless communication between internal teams, external stakeholders, and clearing firms.
What you'll do
As an Operations Analyst, your key responsibilities include:
Trading Operations
  • Own the full trade lifecycle for ETF/cash equities and options: trade capture, confirmation, clearing, and settlement
  • Compile and reconcile data from electronic and voice trades
  • Resolve erroneous, broken, or unmatched trades with urgency
  • Monitor and control post-trade processes, proactively identifying and mitigating operational risk
  • Act as liaison between desk traders, external dealers, brokers, and clearing firm.

Process Improvement & Automation
  • Identify manual workflows and design improvements to reduce operational risk and increase scalability
  • Build tools, reports, and dashboards to enhance daily trading operations
  • Collaborate with developers and traders to streamline systems and data flows
  • Continuously optimize processes - challenge existing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and risk controls

Counterparty & ETF Onboarding
  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding of new counterparties - gathering KYC/AML documentation, liaising with Legal and Compliance, and tracking progress through to completion

What you'll get
  • The opportunity to work alongside best-in-class professionals from over 40 different countries Highly competitive compensation package including performance-based bonus structure
  • 401(k) match up to 50%
  • Comprehensive health, mental, dental, vision, disability, and life coverage
  • 25 paid vacation days alongside market holidays
  • Extensive office perks, including breakfast, lunch and snacks, regular social events, clubs, sporting leagues and more

Who you are
  • 2+ years of experience in trade support or operations within financial markets (ETF and cash equities operations experience preferred), ideally on a trading desk or bank
  • Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle: booking, reconciliation, confirmation, and settlement
  • Excellent communication skills - you'll be the point of contact for traders, counterparties, and exchanges daily
  • Detail-oriented critical thinker who thrives under pressure and can manage competing priorities โ€ข Self-motivated and takes ownership - you see a problem, you fix it
  • Enjoys working with large datasets to find patterns and identify irregularities
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
