Job Title: Senior Media Strategy Manager (Omnichannel Performance)
Role Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Senior Media Strategy Manager to lead our paid media efforts across integrated consumer and professional channels. This role serves as a "bridge" between high-level brand strategy and in-market execution. You will be responsible for defining the media mix, optimizing for ROI, and managing the agency partnership to ensure every dollar spent drives measurable revenue growth.
This is a strategic leadership role. You aren't just buying media; you are conceptualizing how to reach diverse audiences (B2B and B2C) and using data-driven insights to challenge the status quo. If you are a performance-obsessed strategist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to navigate complex organizational layers to get results, this is an ideal role for you.
Key Responsibilities
Media Strategy & Performance
• Holistic Planning: Lead the development of integrated media strategies (online and offline). Participate in annual brand planning, setting objectives, channel mixes, and measurement frameworks that prioritize revenue growth.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor in-market execution against KPIs. Use historical performance, consumption insights, and media mix modeling to iterate on plans and drive maximum efficiency.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Work with internal data partners to synthesize large volumes of data into actionable "growth levers." Avoid data paralysis by prioritizing what truly impacts business outcomes.
Agency & Stakeholder Leadership
• Agency Stewardship: Manage the client-agency partnership with clear expectations, regular performance evaluations, and collaborative action planning to ensure customer-centric tactics.
• Cross-Functional Influence: Influence decision-making across functional silos. Prepare and present strategy recommendations that align media objectives with broader business priorities.
• Financial Oversight: Manage multi-channel budgets, including reconciliation and trade-off recommendations for internal brand partners.
Governance & Innovation
• Compliance: Ensure all media activity adheres to industry-specific marketing guidelines, privacy policies, and rigorous ethical standards.
• Continuous Innovation: Act as an incubator for new ideas-leveraging automation, testing new channel opportunities, and challenging established processes to improve our "digital building blocks."
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, Business, or a related field.
• Experience Baseline: Minimum of five (5) years of senior-level professional experience in media planning and strategy.
• Technical Mastery: Expertise in planning, buying, and measurement across both offline and online media channels. Strong proficiency in Media Mix Modeling and
Performance Measurement tools.
• Project/Budget Management: Proven ability to manage complex budgets, track channel performance, and reconcile spend with surgical attention to detail.
Preferred Attributes
• Proven record of influencing stakeholders at levels above them and across different functional areas.
• Ability to resolve problems efficiently in a "constantly evolving" or high-ambiguity environment.
• High level of comfort working in a matrixed organization where relationship-building is key to execution.
