About Site

Our Bridgewater location is the corporate office for Catalent. The facility is located approximately 45 minutes from Newark Liberty airport.

Position Summary

We have an opportunity for a Manager, Global Trade Compliance to join our team. In this role, you will communicate international data requirements and provide training on various trade topics. You will support export compliance programs, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to global trade regulations. This position offers the chance to work on risk analysis, compliance assessments, and customs partnership programs in a dynamic environment.

Location: Any US Catalent site

The Role

  • Communicate international data requirements to all applicable personnel at assigned locations, including preparing and presenting training materials on international trade topics.

  • Apply knowledge of product classification, Harmonized Tariff System, Export Control Number, and requirements for other government agencies involved in international transactions.

  • Support the company's export compliance program across export controls, sanctions, and embargoes, including business partner screening, sanctions reviews, and reporting findings to stakeholders.

  • Participate in internal audits of import and export compliance processes, including transaction reviews and audit reporting.

  • Train and mentor site personnel on product classification, Harmonized Tariff System, valuation, origin, export controls, preferential duty programs, and other government agency requirements.

  • Support the company's Customs partnership programs, including CTPAT Supply Chain Security, CTPAT Trade Compliance, EU/UK AEO, and similar programs globally.

  • Support and develop internal assessments, risk analysis, and recommendations related to projects, supply chain changes, regulatory updates, and transactional activities.

  • Other duties as assigned.

The Candidate

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma

  • Minimum of five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Strong knowledge of export and import documentation

  • Strong knowledge of use and determination of Harmonized Tariff System

  • Strong knowledge of import and export process

Preferred Skills & Background

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent certifications

  • Experience and knowledge of Foreign Trade Zone and other Preferential Duty Programs

  • Individual U.S. Customs Broker license

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position in NJ is $110,000 - $150,000, plus bonus. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
The anticipated salary range for this position in MA is $110,000 - $150,000, plus bonus. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
