About your role:

You will support the Financial Solutions organization by delivering client-facing data conversion and implementation services for payment processing solutions. You will partner with clients, project teams, business stakeholders, and technical resources to analyze, map, validate, and convert client data onto Fiserv platforms. Your work helps enable successful client onboarding, minimize operational disruption, and ensure accurate and reliable conversion outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Lead data conversion and implementation activities for client onboarding and portfolio migration projects, including planning, validation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

  • Partner with clients and internal teams to gather business and technical requirements, define conversion scope, document dependencies, and align delivery milestones.

  • Analyze source data and develop mapping specifications to support accurate conversion of client portfolios to Fiserv processing platforms.

  • Coordinate conversion activities across systems, testing, issue resolution, balancing, and production readiness to support successful client outcomes.

  • Validate conversion outputs, reports, data files, and related deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with established requirements.

  • Support client meetings, testing cycles, mock conversions, cutover activities, and operational handoffs to ensure timely project execution.

  • Troubleshoot conversion and production issues, maintain project documentation and status reporting, and identify risks, dependencies, and process improvement opportunities.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 4+ years of experience supporting software implementations, data conversions, business analysis, technical delivery, or professional services in a financial services or technology environment.

  • Experience analyzing complex data sets, documenting technical requirements, and developing conversion or integration specifications.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, coordinate testing, manage deliverables, and support production readiness activities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess impacts, identify risks, and support solution delivery.

  • Experience validating testing results, conversion outputs, reports, reconciliations, or financial balancing activities.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts, project status, risks, and issue resolution to clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel or other data analysis tools.

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education, work history and military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience with Fiserv Optis production programs and processes.

  • Experience supporting card issuing, payments, banking, or other financial services platforms.

  • Experience supporting client conversions, portfolio migrations, deconversions, or onboarding implementations.

  • Experience with data mapping, file layouts, interface validation, data transformation, or application programming interface (API) testing.

  • Experience working with mainframe technologies, COBOL, IBM Job Control Language (JCL), TSO/TPX, or similar legacy processing environments.

How you'll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help support onboarding, teamwork, and overall productivity.

  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

  • This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis.

Sponsorship:

You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Benefits at Fiserv:
