Principal Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with existing institutional client coverage team to drive AUM growth of credit strategies and expand the firm's market presence and client base
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients' credit teams and other industry stakeholders. Responsible for supporting credit fundraising campaigns alongside credit specialists and product heads
  • Deliver credit platform and market insights to clients - be fluent in all of our credit strategies and well versed in credit market dynamics; be able to speak to the broader TPG platform and collaborate on non credit opportunities as they arise
  • Collaborate with credit specialist head and senior credit specialist team, CCF leadership, and product management teams on the development of new strategies and content
  • Collaborate with lead client coverage and Senior Credit Specialists to drive latest updates and coordinate with Product Management for client deliverables
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and represent the TPG Credit platform and Firm accurately
  • Assist in the design and delivery of custom credit strategic solutions tailored to meet the specific needs and objectives of clients
  • Collaborate with TPG's consultant relationship team to drive client interest in credit strategies and support engagement with field consultants
  • Contribute to the mentorship and development of junior team members across client coverage, product management, and client services

Requirements
  • Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience, ideally within credit markets
  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field; MBA, CFA and / or CAIA preferred
  • Strong and demonstrable knowledge of alternative credit investment products across a variety of strategies and fund structures
  • Demonstrated experience in the commercialization of credit products, including developing go-to-market strategies, pricing models, distribution channels, and direct contributions to AUM growth
  • Ability to quickly understand and articulate TPG's credit investment strategy, differentiating factors, and competitive advantage
  • Highly motivated, proactive and a collaborative team player and leader. Results oriented, strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional presence and interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to articulate TPG's strategy, investments and investment performance, as well as current and future market opportunities
  • Proven ability to manage territory independently, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

It is expected that the annual base salary for this role will range from $150,000 - $200,000. Base salary is one component of TPG's competitive total rewards package which typically includes discretionary compensation, comprehensive health benefits, and paid time off. Other incentives may also be available to certain eligible employees.
