We offer a competitive wage from $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience with the right experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LINE COOK

As a Line Cook in the kitchen of Cherokee Town and Country Club, you are the heart of our restaurant. You are passionate about good food and exceeding our members' expectations. Each shift, you prepare food items that appear either on the menu or as a special pertaining to your specific station. You carefully follow recipes and work hard to ensure the quality and consistency of the food and that it is ready in a timely manner.

WORK SCHEDULE

The typical schedule for this part-time culinary position is Tuesday - Sunday with both AM and PM shifts available. Some Mondays may be needed on occasion from the Spring through the Fall for Events.

Requirements:
  • Serve safe certification
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

A culinary degree or ACF equivalent is preferred. Do you work well as part of a team? Do you have excellent customer service skills and a love for hospitality? Can you understand and communicate in English? Are you quick on your feet and able to work in a fast-paced environment? Can you maintain a complete day-to-day knowledge of our menu's preparation and presentation? If so, you may be perfect for this position!
