Responsibilities:
  • Pick up soiled linen and deliver clean linen to all food and beverage outlets, Spa, Fitness, Tennis, clubhouse and Lakeside.
  • Ensure clean linen is delivered to the proper linen closets by item and record deliveries.
  • Assist in loading washers and dryers to help in production levels.
  • Work chute area when needed.
  • Complete pre-shift and post-shift checklists for vehicle.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.
  • Attend department meetings and other required company trainings.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • Previous Laundry experience is preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must possess a valid driver license and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report, defined as no more than 1 moving violation in the most recent 2 years.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, performing repetitive work.
  • Must be willing to work a variety of shifts.
    • PM availibility required.
    • Weekends and holidays may be required.
    • Extra work hours/shifts may be required to ensure that all customer needs are met daily.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to drive, stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate to heavy weight for an entire shift.

Working Environment:
  • Roadway with exposure to a variety of weather conditions.
  • Interior and exterior of clubhouse and hotel.
  • Interior of laundry room with daily travel around property.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures, especially heat.
  • Exposure to hazardous chemicals.
