  • Oversee tee sheet management, pace of play, and outside play yield strategy across all three courses
  • Manage golf shop merchandising, buying, inventory, retail displays, and shop financials
  • Develop and execute member programming, leagues, events, and player development initiatives
  • Maintain full responsibility for golf operations budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Administer the Rules of Golf and provide education and support to staff and members

Why You’ll Love Working Here

This is one of the rare Director of Golf roles that combines genuine operational scale with a strong lifestyle market. You’ll run 54 holes across three distinct championship courses, drive a meaningful tournament and outing business, and shape a long range plan that’s actively being written. Williamsburg offers a low cost of living relative to most coastal metros, a serious year round golf community, and easy access to Richmond, Virginia Beach, and Hampton Roads. The team is established, the membership is active, and the operation is busy enough to make every day matter. For the right professional, this is a chance to step into the title, the scope, and the resume credit that come with running one of the larger golf operations in the region.
