Paisley Park, Prince's creative sanctuary is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable individual to lead and manage the Museum Tour Operations Department. As the Museum Tour Operations Manager, you will be responsible for training, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring that all guests who enter Paisley Park are provided with the experience of Prince's legacy.


Job Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of guided museum tour experiences
  • Ability to create unique and memorable experiences for museum guests
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Prince Rogers Nelson and Music History

Job Requirements

  • Provide guests with exceptional customer experiences while ensuring the safety of our guests
  • Excellent leadership skills, ability to provide guidance, support, and knowledge to tour guides and the script
  • Ability to prepare and conduct all Paisley Park Tours: PE, PVE, and ULT VIP
  • Flexible availability to work events, special guest tours, group tours and other needs that fall outside of normal work hours
  • Provide weekend leadership and support to Paisley Park staff
  • Prepare and refresh content in the tour script at regular intervals and throughout important dates throughout Prince's legacy
  • Training new tour guides in a professional and informative manner
  • Create tour schedules and handle scheduling conflicts
  • Schedule group tours and walk-through tours into current tour schedule
  • Identify and problem solve through all tour flow issues
  • Provide leadership for tour guides by shadowing their tours, monitoring their uniforms, and providing experiential knowledge
  • Evaluate and enhance tour content and procedures
  • Accurately research answers to questions from tour guides and ensure the validity of the answers
  • Vetting, interviewing, and hiring all tour guides
  • Maintaing high standards of quality and experience

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
