Night Chaperone Agent- Student Watchers:

Seasonal Part-time / Independent Contractor Opportunity!

This seasonal "on-call" role is hiring for the 2026 travel season, which kicks off in March 2026 and runs through July 2026.

As the nations most trusted provider of overnight chaperone services for student travel groups, we set the industry standard for professionalism, vigilance, and care. Schools, parents, and tour operators across the country rely on our Night Chaperone Agents to serve as a steady, watchful presence, acting as the eyes, ears, and calm reassurance that students are safe throughout the night.


Duties:

As a Night Chaperone Agent, you are the foundation of safety during overnight student trips. Your responsibilities include:

  • Monitor student areas and hotel hallways to ensure safety, curfew compliance, and respectful behavior.
  • Supervise outdoor locations, maintaining high visibility and vigilance.
  • Provide a calm and professional presence that encourages positive behavior and ensures students feel supported and safe.
  • Maintain detailed nightly reports on activities, behaviors, and any incidents.
  • Collaborate closely with group leaders and tour operators to ensure every trip runs smoothly and successfully.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, including medical, safety, or behavioral situations.
  • Serve as a dependable role model of professionalism, integrity, and responsibility for the students in your care.


Pay & Hours:

  • Pay: $20.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Overnight shifts generally range from 58 hours and are scheduled between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM. Specific start and end times may vary within this window based on assignment needs, with flexible weekly scheduling available.
  • This position is paid twice per week, via direct deposit.
  • Emergency assignments are offered at a higher hourly rate, with instant (same-day) pay options.


Location & Work Environment:

This position is based in hotels throughout Northern Virginia, along the Dulles Corridor, and the greater Washington metropolitan area. Night Chaperone Agents work on-site in hotel environments where student travel groups are staying overnight. The role requires a calm, attentive presence during evening and overnight hours, including monitoring hallways, common areas, and designated floors to ensure student safety and adherence to hotel and group guidelines.


Position Qualifications:

  • Must be 25 years of age or older.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from assignments.
  • Must maintain a neat, professional appearance and comply with uniform standards.
  • Must be able to stay alert and focused throughout overnight hours.
  • Must pass a mandatory national fingerprint background check.
