Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED)
Utica, NY
$2,700 - $2,900/week
13-Week Travel Assignment | 36 Hours Guaranteed

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a high-acuity travel assignment in Upstate New York. This is a fast-paced ER environment with diverse patient populations and advanced critical care exposure.
Assignment Details
  • Start Date: June 8, 2026
  • Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM (12-hour evenings)
  • Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours guaranteed)
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Floating: Required
  • Scrubs: Navy Blue
Compensation
  • Weekly Pay: $2,700 - $2,900
  • Tax-Free Stipends Included
  • Overtime Available (Daily after 24 hrs / Weekly after 48 hrs)
Unit Overview
  • Beds: 64 total (Triage, Acute, Trauma, CDU, Psych)
  • Patient Population: Newborn → Geriatric
  • Common Cases: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure
  • Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
  • Drips: Pressors (Levophed, Epi, Dopamine), Vasodilators, Anti-arrhythmics, Sedation, Insulin, Heparin
  • EMR: EPIC
Requirements
  • Active NY RN License
  • 2+ years ED experience (with PEDS experience required)
  • Travel experience REQUIRED
  • Charge experience highly preferred
  • Certifications Required:
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • PALS
    • NIHSS
    • TNCC (REQUIRED)
  • EPIC experience required
