Financial Analyst, Total Rewards
Job Summary
A leading organization is seeking a Total Rewards Financial Analyst to support compensation programs and initiatives. This role will contribute to compensation design and administration, market research, program analysis, compensation systems and processes, incentive calculations, equity administration, total rewards data integrity, and communication/change management activities.
Key Responsibilities
General Compensation
  • Serve as a resource to HR professionals regarding base salary, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, and compensation compliance.
  • Provide guidance on compensation program policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Maintain internal and external compensation data across HR systems and third-party platforms.
  • Participate in compensation surveys, including data collection, submissions, and analysis.
  • Support the development of compensation training materials for employees and managers.
  • Assist with additional compensation-related projects as needed.

Short-Term Incentive Programs
  • Administer and support bonus and commission programs, including calculations, payment coordination, audits, and employee inquiries.
  • Analyze the impact of financial performance on incentive programs and partner with Finance and Accounting to validate accruals and financial metrics.
  • Support the maintenance and publication of incentive plans and related documentation in partnership with Compensation and Compliance teams.

Long-Term Incentive & Equity Administration
  • Support administration of long-term incentive and equity programs, including data integrity, reporting, reconciliations, and related reporting activities.
  • Assist with employee stock purchase plan administration, including communications, enrollment, contribution coordination, and purchase processes.

Base Compensation
  • Administer salary structures, including job leveling, benchmarking, position design, and pay-grade assignments.
  • Support the annual merit increase process.
  • Conduct job evaluations and assist with classification and exemption determinations.
  • Manage job creation and maintenance processes, including system updates, communications, audits, and job documentation.
  • Perform compensation and workforce analytics related to overtime, tenure, wage trends, incentive return on investment, and other rewards metrics.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in compensation analysis or a related total rewards function.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and intermediate to advanced Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and mail merges.
  • Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, synthesize, and interpret large volumes of data.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment & Requirements
  • Primarily sedentary, computer-based work in an office environment.
  • Requires frequent communication with employees, vendors, and business partners regarding compensation programs.
  • Requires the ability to work on-site/in person.
  • Regular use of computers, phones, and other standard office equipment.
