We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Torch Cutter, Monday to Friday from 7:45am-5:00pm. In this role, you will be responsible for operating torch equipment to cut and trim various materials.
What you're responsible for:
- Operating torch equipment to cut and trim different metal materials
- Setting up and preparing torch equipment and ensuring proper safety measures are in place
- Performing cutting tasks with precision and accuracy
- Inspecting finished workpieces and making adjustments as needed
- Assisting with material handling and preparation tasks, such as moving and securing workpieces using clamps or fixtures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and handling of equipment and materials
To join our team:
- You have previous experience in metalworking, welding, fabrication, or a related field is preferred but not required
- You have a basic understanding of torch equipment operation and safety procedures
- You show strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work
- Have you good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
