We are currently hiring Full-Time, Part-Time, & PRN Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team at locations in Polk City, Iowa or Ankeny, Iowa!ย 

Atย On With Life, we specialize in rehabilitative care for individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries - and we're looking for dedicated caregivers to join our award-winning team. Grow your career in a mission-driven environment by providing rehabilitative support to individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, or neurological conditions. This role delivers individualized care within a transdisciplinary team serving persons with brain injuries and neurological conditions.ย 

    • Environment: Skilled Long-Term Careย  ย  ย 
      • Location: Polk City, Iowa
      • Hours: 6:00PM-6:30AM (3 shifts/week)ย rotating holidays & every 3rd weekend required
      • Nurses 1:10 ratio all shifts, CNAS 1:5 Days & 1:10 nightsย

      • Location: Ankeny, Iowa
      • Part-Time Schedule; Hours:ย 6:00PM-6:30AM (2 shifts/wk)

    IMPORTANT: Please note that our orientation process (typically up to 1 month) may require working days or shifts outside of what will be your permanent schedule.ย 

    Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN):
    • Provide direct nursing care according to individual care plans and physician orders.
    • Supervise and mentor Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
    • Coordinate care with a transdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
    • Support medical, dietary, and therapeutic needs of persons served.
    • Document and report changes in condition and participate in care planning.
    • Help persons served achieve their highest quality of life through skilled nursing interventions.
    • Support activities of daily living and encourage independence.
    • Ensure care aligns with facility policies and individual preferences.ย
