GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Surveillance Security Officer!

Ready to suit up as a PT Experienced Security Dispatcher?

What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Tell us about your strong observation skills with attention to detail.

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations center, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

What’s in it for you: Must have experience as a Dispatcher in Security, and have, or be able to obtain a Gaming License.

  • Site Location: Los Vegas, NV
  • Set schedule: 24-hour work week.
  • Shift: PT Swing/Grave Combo: 2PM TO 10PM: Saturday & Sunday/10pm to 6am: Thursday.

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Dispatcher

  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients.
  • Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site.
  • Respond quickly to critical situations.
  • You provide critical access control using screening guests, employees, vendors, and other guests. You would also screen people upon exiting.
  • You provide extra security patrolling the grounds inside and outside of the facility by car, and by foot.
  • You will be providing appropriate badges at the facility.
  • You answer Phones and communicate with Patrol Officers to cover areas and assignments in need.
  • You have excellent ability to read and write detailed reports.
  • You are expected to enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.
  • You are proficient in working with electronics, computers, radios, and advanced CCTV systems.
  • You can handle various temperatures throughout the inside and outside the property.
  • You are able to maintain vehicles and other assigned equipment; and follow proper procedures.
  • You are certified in the areas of CPR/AED or can obtain them after an offer within 2 weeks or less.

Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Dispatcher

  • You are able to walk, sit, stand, and handle any weather conditions throughout your shift.
  • You can multitask and work well under pressure.
  • You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
  • You have a valid driver's license.
  • You have at least 2 years security experience, with 1 year in a highly sensitive manufacturing facility.
  • You have at least 1 year of top-flight dispatch security operations.
  • You have a valid PILB in hand.
  • You have a HS Diploma or GED in hand, or higher degree.
  • You have superior computer and electronic skills.
  • You have outstanding people skills.
  • You can handle various temperatures that can range from cold, to hot and humid inside.
  • You have, or can obtain, CPR/AED certification within 1 week of an offer.
  • You have or can obtain the Gaming License within the first two weeks of an offer.
  • You are a U.S. Citizen or Naturalized.
