We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in tooling and industrial equipment procurement and installation. This role will lead end-to-end project execution for new equipment installations, upgrades, and tooling projects, ensuring alignment with production requirements, budget, and timeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for tooling and equipment projects.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, maintenance, and suppliers.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers for tooling and industrial equipment.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of industrial equipment and tooling.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements during installation.
  • Validate equipment performance and handover to operations.
  • Track project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
  • Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders and management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution and cost efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Proven expertise in tooling and industrial equipment procurement and installation.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment specifications.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Preferred
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Salary Range: $75,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
