Project Manager – Confidential Precision Tooling & Mold Manufacturer

Minneapolis–St. Paul, MN | Full-Time | On-Site

We’re recruiting on behalf of a premier precision mold manufacturer in the Minneapolis area that’s known for delivering complex tooling solutions with unmatched craftsmanship. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead technical programs from quote through completion—driving performance, quality, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate customer RFQs and develop accurate tooling quotations

  • Lead project execution from kickoff to delivery

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across machining, design, purchasing, and production

  • Manage scheduling, routing, requisitions, and buyouts

  • Oversee CAD/CAM programming (vertical CNC mills) and inspection (CMM/manual)

  • Support process development and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Serve as a primary point of contact with customers and vendors

Preferred Background:

  • 5+ years in mold manufacturing or precision tooling

  • Experience with CAD/CAM programming and ERP systems (Epicor or similar)

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Technical knowledge of machining, inspection, and project scheduling

  • Degree from a technical school or equivalent hands-on experience

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
