Position: Toolmaker

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Toolmaker to build, modify, repair, and maintain precision tooling, dies, fixtures, and components. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on machining and blueprint-reading skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, modify, repair, and maintain tooling, dies, and fixtures.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.

  • Operate lathes, Bridgeport mills, grinders, and hand/power tools.

  • Perform precision machining, fitting, grinding, and fabrication.

  • Troubleshoot and repair tooling issues.

  • Weld and fabricate tooling components as needed.

  • Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Requirements
  • Experience as a Toolmaker, Tool & Die Maker, Tooling Technician, or Tool Room Machinist.

  • Strong blueprint/drawing interpretation skills.

  • Hands-on experience with manual machining equipment.

  • Knowledge of precision measurements, dimensions, and tolerances.

  • Experience with tooling fabrication, repair, and modification.
