Job Description

DIRECT HIRE POSITION WITH BENEFITS AND RELOCATION

The tool design and documentation engineer will lead the design and documentation of new tooling programs. The engineer will also manage all tool documentation including tool design, changes, and standards. ย 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Lead new tooling programs from start to finish including all design reviews, documentation, build, and startup.

Maintain all tooling documentation with revision level approval system and drawing vault.

Assist the value stream with tooling related improvement projects.

Develop, document, and maintain tooling standards.

Lead expert for tooling support.

Ability to proficiently complete CAD layouts and schematics as needed to complete project work

Other general project management as assigned, including lead on projects.

Coordinate and manage project related files and software.

Attend meetings as needed to participate with teams.

Reporting as assigned, including internal and external communication to execute the requirements. ย 

Organizes outside contractors as needed for tool work or support.

Support for supply crib PPE and parts distribution.

Follow all plant safety policies.
