Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for a Software Tool Engineer to join their rapidly growing team!
The Software Tool Engineer shall work with teams to identify, engineer, and implement the most optimum automated solution that follows approved processes for a given project or infrastructure.In addition, Tools Engineers shall work with all other infrastructure support teams as other support teams are identified as part of a solution to identify, engineer and implement solutions that integrate with the automation/infrastructure/productivity tools.
Description:
  • Participate int the research, analysis and recommendation of software productivity tools to support Key Management development efforts.
  • Develop and maintain software productivity tools installations, integrations, development and configuration plans.
  • Develop, tailor and maintain associated technical documentation for software productivity tools.
  • Perform regular backup of software productivity tools databases, datasets and files.
  • Monitor, track, and manage software productivity tools, licenses, and associated media.
  • Install, integrate, develop, customize and configure software productivity tools (e.g. IBM/Rational Tools, HP Service Manager) in support of Key Management efforts.
  • Provide consulting, training and hands-on experience to project personnel to include Key Management personnel in the use of software tools.
  • Integrate software productivity tools to implement existing and proposed project processes in use.
Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI Poly - with CI poly within last 7 years
  • Active IAT Level I certification
  • BS +10 years experience
  • Expertise in installing/operating/administering and upgrading ClearCase and ClearQuest Tools
  • Strong knowledge of developing/implementing requirements repositories
  • Strong knowledge of using JIRA and other project management/tracking tools
  • General scripting knowledge (perl, bash, sh, csh, windows batch, python)
  • Must have excellent writing skills
