Job Description Job Description Lead Tool and Die Maker We are seeking a highly skilled Tool and Die Maker with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join our precision manufacturing team. This role focuses on building, repairing, and optimizing complex dies, fixtures, and gauges, while offering unique financial incentives for design and engineering contributions. Key Responsibilities Tool Construction : Build and repair complex stage dies, progressive dies, and fixtures. Machining : Operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC equipment with high precision. Design Integration : Collaborate with engineering to develop and refine tool blueprints.

Troubleshooting : Diagnose production die failures and implement permanent engineering fixes. Quality Control : Inspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators. Ability to set up progressive and single hit operation dies.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience : Minimum of 10 years as a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker. Education : High school diploma and completion of a formal apprenticeship program. Blueprint Reading : Advanced ability to interpret complex geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Precision : Ability to hold tolerances as tight as +/- 0.0002 inches. Problem Solving : Strong analytical skills to optimize stamping and forming processes.
