We are currently looking for a Software/CAD Tool Engineer to join our team! In this role you'll be building solutions to boost productivity and efficiency of our custom circuit designs. You will be engaging with multi-functional teams to ensure the robustness of the designs that will have direct impact across all product lines.
What you'll be doing:
  • Work within a multi-functional team on various projects involving Pre-silicon and Post Silicon hardware design and related data
  • Supporting projects with applications ranging from silicon data analysis, process variation analysis, VLSI design analysis, timing analysis etc.
  • Employ good software engineering practices to develop leading-edge EDA/CAD tools for chip development
  • Work closely with Backend engineers to support the existing development infrastructure, identify possible improvements and solutions
  • You will be directly responsible for the full life-cycle of tool development including data storage design, UI design, testing, development, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Work with other team members and other DA teams to bring state of the art software solutions and practices to the team

What we need to see:
  • B.Sc./M.Sc. preferred in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Good programming skills in multiple languages ( C++, Tcl, Python, or other scripting languages (such as Perl, Shell).)
  • Prior experience with tool development including GUI, database management, testing and deployment is required
  • familiarity with AI tools to improve productivity and impact
  • Personal: good interpersonal skills, quick learner, proactive, innovative, highly motivated, and committed.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Knowledge of EDA tools like ICC2, Design Compiler, PrimeTime, and Innovus is plus.
  • Previous work with VLSI, ASIC. EDA, Silicon data is a definite plus
  • Enjoy working with multiple levels and teams across organizations
  • Effective interpersonal and technical presentation skills
  • Self-starter with passion for growth, real enthusiasm for continuous learning and sharing findings across the team

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 218,500 USD for Level 3, and 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD for Level 4.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
