General Responsibilities

• Responsible for the carrier selection and management of all exports of isotanks and packaged Alimet from the Houston warehouse
• Lead ocean freight container and isotank negotiations with transport providers
• Lead process associated with shipment of bulk Alimet via bulk ocean carriers. Includes the management of inventory in the shore tank terminals and initial prior cargo evaluation
• Main point of contact to publish monthly Novus global supply chain KPI’s. With assistance from manager, review monthly scorecard metrics with logistics providers and internal colleagues to address recurring issues and improvements needed.
• Coordination of key inventory management processes including Sale of Texas Inventory (SOTI)
• Ensures the preparation of legal documents required for export orders is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain SAP freight cost tables and update route changes in SAP quarterly. Advise logistical quotes and transit times to the Sales team.
• Monitor container status via carrier portals and ensure timely arrival of product and requested ETA’s are met
• Audit invoices received from the bulk truck transporter
• Confirm orders sailed timely and invoicing has been completed in SAP
• Complete process orders in SAP for filling IBC’s, labels, and warehouse management fees for Alimet tolling and Houston warehouse
• Address all internal and external customer complaints promptly and appropriately to ensure zero loss of business due to Novus or Novus business partner’s actions or failures. Address complaints regarding logistics issues within the Novus Issues Management Tool in order to view, track, and improve service levels and increase customer satisfaction.
• Support FAMI-QS audits and physical inventory counts at the Houston warehouse and assist with audit requests. (travel required)
• Support Novus' Government Risk and Control Matrices, in alignment with J-SOX, reflecting control points and SOX compliance within business processes as they relate to NORAM logistics and inventory controls and achieve 100% compliance as reviewed during all audits.
• Ensure BCP documentation is reviewed and updated annually, replace any BCP team members who leave the company, and support any BCP training/testing that is scheduled.
• Support the monthly closing for all orders, inventories, and transactions on time (last day of month)
• Adhere to the Novus Management System (NMS), Novus Integrity System (NIS) and all policies and procedures.

Experience Requirements

• 3+ years of related supply chain experience in a multinational corporation
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective logistics solutions, order fulfillment processes, foreign trade and import/export regulations
• Proficient in SAP applications and Microsoft Office.

Other Essential Requirements

. Occasional domestic and international travel to interact with suppliers/partners, conduct audits and inventories, and cross-train with colleagues.

Cross-Functional Relationship

. Work with Customer Service, Procurement, Corporate Planning, and Sales to ensure sufficient supply of products for internal and external customers, and respond to their issues in a timely fashion.
