Job description

As one of the world's largest and most recognized graphite electrode manufacturers, we power the industries that keep our country moving. To continue that mission, we're looking for dependable team members to join our Extrusion Department where safety, teamwork, and precision drive everything we do.

This position is based at our Hickman, KY facility, with a starting hourly rate of $20.60. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for four quarterly bonus incentives and an additional annual bonus tied to overall business performance. This position must be willing to work varying shifts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

ยท Mechanical ability to operate and maintain equipment in good working condition and safe operation.

ยท Follow procedures on proper operation of equipment and job-related safety requirements.

ยท Participate as a team member to set and accomplish goals of the department and other team functions throughout the plant.

ยท Understand and follow Tokai policies and procedures.

ยท Recognize and troubleshoot daily operations problems.

ยท Update and maintain any required records or documents.

ยท Follows safety policies & procedures

ยท Assist in loading / unloading stock

ยท Load and unload stock on trailers.

ยท Work varying day shifts. Shifts may vary from 8-12 hours and days of the week worked may vary.

COMPETENCIES

ยท Knowledge of safe forklift operation principles.ยท Current forklift certification preferred; must have ability to become certified.

ยท Ability to work well without close supervision.

ยท Good attendance

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required:

ยท High school diploma or equivalent experience (generally 1 year or less related experience)

ยท General knowledge of computers.

ยท Ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
