Description:

Tokai Carbon GS is looking to add to its world class team of highly trained and skilled personnel. We provide carbon and graphite solutions for Aerospace, EDM, Fuel cell and Semiconductor markets. Tokai Carbon GS has earned a reputation for leading the industry in precision manufacturing.


Essential Functions:

  • Maintain a safe, organized work environment.
  • Setup and run various grinding jobs within given time requirements.
  • Setup and run concurrent jobs on multiple machines when necessary.
  • Perform inspection to ensure good quality.
  • Run production grinding work.
  • Work extra hours required to maintain customer delivery requirements.
  • Produce quality products that well represent Tokai Carbon GS and you.
  • Work and effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Ability to comply with Tokai Carbon GS standards of operations.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance routines on grinding equipment.


Compensation & Benefits

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to the candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 per hour.

Requirements:
  • Blue-print reading skills needed.
  • Experience dressing grinding wheels. (Radii/Angle grinding a plus )
  • Ability to setup and run concurrent jobs on multiple machines.
  • Able to design and fixture parts as necessary to complete jobs.
  • Ability/Availability to work overtime in order to meet customer requirements.
  • Ability to use standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, comparators, CMM experience a plus.
  • Shop math skills. (strong trigonometry)
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to allow proper communication between co-workers and management.
  • Ability to work to metric dimensions.
  • Experience with Lean and ISO systems.
