Job description

ITTConnect is seeking a Senior Telecom Integration Architect to work on a client's project. This person needs to be based in Saint Louis, MO for on site work. We are seeking a senior, hands-on Telecom Architect to step into a critical enterprise integration project.

Key Responsibilities: Architecture & Strategy Define the enterprise-wide integration architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and cloud-first initiatives. Apply the TOGAF framework to govern architectural artifacts, principles, and transition states. Architect end-to-end integration patterns (API-first, event-driven architectures, microservices, and batch patterns) across complex telco ecosystems Telco Domain Execution Lead the design and integration of core **OSS/BSS** platforms (e.g., CRM, Billing, Charging, Order Management, Inventory, and Network Assurance)

This role will work on the integration of applications between two telecommunications companies, due to their merger. Requirements Experience Total Experience: 10+ years in IT/Software Architecture, with at least 5+ years as a Lead or Principal Integration Architect within the Telecommunications vertical. Telco Expertise: Proven track record of delivering complex integrations for **OSS/BSS** transformation programs and automated **Service Activation** pipelines.

Methodology: Strong practical experience applying **TOGAF principles (certification is highly preferred). Technical Skills Integration Paradigms: Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs, gRPC, GraphQL, Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP). Cloud Computing: Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and cloud integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Azure Integration Services)

Standards: Strong familiarity with TM Forum frameworks (Frameworx, TAM, eTOM, SID, Open APIs). Soft Skills Exceptional communication and negotiation skills; ability to explain complex technical realities to non-technical business executives. Strong analytical mindset with a passion for deconstructing legacy technical debt.

Preferred Qualifications Experience leading integration of telecom companies merging operations TOGAF 9.x or 10 Certified. TM Forum Certified Professional. Cloud Architecture Certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
