Job Title: Insurance & Document Processing Representative
Job Description:
At First Citizens State Bank, our mission is to provide a first-class loan experience for every customer. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Insurance & Document Processing Representative to join our team. This position is responsible for performing a variety of essential back-office tasks that support the overall loan process. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize daily responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Organize paperwork within loan files and inspect for completeness, coordinating with processors to resolve deficiencies.
โ€ข Prepare and convert a variety of paper documents into a digital copy using scanning equipment and retention software, including labeling and indexing each document according to organization guidelines
โ€ข Review, organize, and scan insurance policies for all loans
โ€ข Process paid loan files and including the releasing of liens
โ€ข Inspect and verify the quality of digital images
โ€ข Filing and tracking of files
โ€ข Produce payoff statements and apply payoff funds to loan accounts
โ€ข Complete quality control of scanned files
โ€ข Daily statement review and disbursement
โ€ข Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma required.
  • Prior experience in banking or loan operations is a plus but not required.

Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy.
