About Us: PedalPoint Recycling is a growing leader in electronics recycling and IT asset disposition (ITAD), committed to providing sustainable and secure solutions for businesses, schools, and government organizations. We are currently seeking a motivated and goal-driven Business Development Representative to join our team in the San Antonio area.

Position Overview:

As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in expanding our client base and generating new business opportunities. This position requires someone who is proactive, personable, and passionate about sustainability and sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, research, and engage potential clients including corporations, schools, government agencies, and other electronic waste generators.
  • Conduct outbound outreach through cold calls, emails, and networking to generate qualified leads.
  • Set and attend client meetings to present PedalPoint’s services and value proposition.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline using CRM software, documenting all interactions and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with operations to tailor recycling and ITAD solutions to meet client-specific needs.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, certifications, and compliance standards.
  • Represent PedalPoint Recycling at local events, trade shows, and client site visits.
Qualifications:
  • 1–3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or B2B lead generation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Confidence in outbound prospecting and handling objections.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Basic knowledge of electronics recycling and/or the ITAD industry is a plus.
  • Must be located in the San Antonio area and able to work on-site initially.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for meetings and events.
