Facility in Bridgeport, CT seeking advanced GI locums coverageOpportunity Highlights
  • Start Date: July 1, 2026 (Ongoing; no established end date).
  • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
  • Shift Times: Standard daytime hours.
  • Call Requirements: On-call responsibilities included. Clinical interventions are generally expected within 24 hours and can often be scheduled for the following day at the physician's discretion. There is no requirement for 30-minute immediate response times.
  • Clinical Setting: Hospital-based inpatient and procedural coverage.
Clinical Scope & ProceduresThis role requires a high level of technical proficiency in advanced interventional GI procedures. You will work alongside our existing contracted specialist to manage the advanced endoscopy service line.Required Procedures:
  • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS): Diagnostic and therapeutic.
  • ERCP: Biliary and pancreatic interventions.
Provider Requirements
  • Board Status: Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Required for medical staff membership).
  • Fellowship/Training: Formal subspecialty training in Advanced Endoscopy (Required).
  • Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in EUS and ERCP.
  • Licensure: Active Connecticut (CT) Medical License preferred at the time of submission.
