Position Overview
The Pool Concierge provides personalized service and genuine hospitality to guests enjoying the resort's pool and beach recreation areas. This role is the heartbeat of our poolside experience greeting guests, assisting with seating and amenities, coordinating cabana services, and ensuring every detail contributes to a seamless, memorable day in paradise.
Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist guests with towels, seating, and cabana arrangements while providing friendly, attentive service throughout the day.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests, ensuring comfort and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with Food & Beverage outlets for timely poolside and cabana service delivery.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and organization of pool decks, towel stations, and cabana areas.
  • Set up and break down daily pool operations including chairs, umbrellas, and amenities.
  • Promote resort recreation programs, special events, and dining experiences to enhance guest engagement.
  • Monitor guest safety, report concerns promptly, and uphold all resort safety and service standards.
  • Collaborate with Recreation, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and enthusiastic about working in a resort setting.
  • Knowledge of resort amenities and the Captiva/Sanibel area a plus.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, recreation, or pool operations preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training may be provided).

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, lifting, and carrying up to 25 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
