Job description

Job Summary:
The Hotel Night Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient overnight operations at The Sebastian Vail. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for hospitality and a knack for financial accuracy. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for balancing accounts, providing exceptional service to late-night guests, and ensuring the safety of the hotel during nighttime hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-of-day financial reporting, including reconciling daily transactions and preparing audit reports
- Ensure accuracy in billing and investigate any discrepancies
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, requests, and any issues that arise during the night shift
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience
- Monitor property security and respond to emergencies or guest concerns with prompt and decisive action
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate communication and maintain operational continuity
- Keep detailed records of any incidents, guest feedback, or maintenance issues that arise overnight
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hotel operations, accounting, or customer service preferred
- Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable using hotel management software and financial systems
- Strong communication skills with a commitment to guest satisfaction
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
