Job description

Timber Products Michigan is seeking a Sales Manager for our fully integrated sawmill and dimension mill in Munising, MI. We are seeking an individual with a proven record of exceeding sales goals and new account development to meet company growth objectives. A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field and a minimum of 2-4 years of successful sales experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree. Michigan location is preferable but negotiable.

The essential duties of the job require excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to proactively prospect potential new customers, meet sales revenue targets, and create and update sales proposals. Strong project management, interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to work in a team environment and produce results in conjunction with fellow team members, and willingness to travel within the USA, with additional visits to Canada, Mexico, and other countries as needed, is essential. Must be proficient in the use of computers and a variety of software programs. Compensation and benefits are commensurate with background and experience.
