Overview:
The Project Manager II will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. We are looking for someone with Mass Timber experience. The Project Manager II will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and stakeholder communication. This position requires strong leadership abilities, extensive project management experience, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1.ย ย  ย Project Planning and Coordination:
-ย ย  ย Lead the development of comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
-ย ย  ย Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to project sites.
-ย ย  ย Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents to ensure alignment with project requirements.

2.ย ย  ย Construction Execution and Oversight:
-ย ย  ย Manage and coordinate all construction activities on-site, including subcontractor work, equipment installations, and material handling.
-ย ย  ย Monitor progress against project schedules and budgets, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
-ย ย  ย Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work is being performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

3.ย ย  ย Quality Assurance and Control:
-ย ย  ย Establish and enforce rigorous quality control procedures and standards to ensure workmanship, materials, and finished products meet project requirements.
-ย ย  ย Conduct inspections and quality checks at various stages of construction to identify and address quality issues and deviations from standards.
-ย ย  ย Implement corrective actions and follow-up measures to ensure timely resolution of quality deficiencies.

4.ย ย  ย Stakeholder Communication and Management:
-ย ย  ย Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
-ย ย  ย Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and issues.
-ย ย  ย Facilitate regular project meetings and conference calls to ensure alignment and coordination among project teams.

5.ย ย  ย Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
-ย ย  ย Identify potential risks, issues, and challenges that may impact project delivery, and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
-ย ย  ย Resolve project-related issues, conflicts, and disputes in a timely and professional manner to minimize project delays and disruptions.
-ย ย  ย Implement corrective actions and follow-up measures to address project issues and prevent reoccurrence.

Qualifications:
-ย ย  ย Bachelorโ€™s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
-ย ย  ย Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, Mass Timber Experience with a proven track record of successfully managing commercial construction projects.
-ย ย  ย Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and industry best practices.
-ย ย  ย Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-ย ย  ย Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver results on time and within budget.
-ย ย  ย Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
