ICP is seeking a Roof Tile Adhesive Sales Manager to lead and grow our roof adhesive product line across the country, with primary responsibility for Southern Florida and a strategic focus on market expansion into California, Arizona, Texas, and additional Gulf Coast regions.
This role is responsible for leading a team of Territory Sales Representatives, driving revenue growth, developing go-to-market strategies, and strengthening contractor and distribution networks. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the steep slope roofing and adhesive market, including regional & national building codes, compliance standards, and application practices, and can effectively scale adoption of our products across new and existing markets.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Coral Springs, Florida warehouse team on all safety guidelines and manage accessory items and inventories.
  • Manage all independent representatives & agreements across the country and ensure proper reporting and payouts.
  • Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability measures for the team.
  • Provide ongoing field coaching, ride-alongs, and mentorship to strengthen selling capabilities and technical knowledge.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new sales talent as the business grows.
Market Expansion & Strategy
  • Drive strategic expansion of the roof tile adhesive business in California, Arizona, Texas, and emerging Gulf Coast markets.
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities, distribution partnerships, and contractor segments.
  • Ensure alignment with regional building codes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Sales & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, distributors, consultants, architects, HOA’s, and building officials.
  • Drive “pull-through” sales strategies across the channel.
  • Conduct regular distribution visits to review performance, inventory, merchandising, and branch engagement.
  • Partner with key accounts to increase product adoption and share.
Training, Technical Expertise & Product Adoption
  • Lead and scale training initiatives across the region, including hands-on jobsite support, product demos, and classroom sessions.
  • Champion the Qualified Applicator Card Program and warranty programs.
  • Ensure consistent product knowledge and application best practices across the sales team and customer base.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on roof tile adhesives, including installation techniques and compliance requirements.
  • Work with R&D Teams on formulations, approvals, testing, new product developments.
  • Perform in-house testing and help construct testing decks to position products accordingly in market. 
Stakeholder Engagement & Industry Presence
  • Engage with architects, consultants, and specifiers to drive project specifications.
  • Build brand awareness through active participation in roofing associations, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Deliver training and presentations to municipalities, building officials, inspectors, and HOA organizations.
Operational & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with ICP divisions to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer support.
  • Analyze sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to inform strategy.
  • Review all product issues to ensure team is following correct procedures and customers are receiving timely credits.
  • Work with accounting/logistics departments to manage cylinder deposits, cylinder returns, and cylinder credits.
  • Coordinate with production planning team to ensure proper materials are on hand
  • Coordinate with executive leadership team for monthly, quarterly, yearly forecasting & budgeting.
  • Work with marketing on reviewing all technical data sheets, packaging, websites, brochures, TDS, SDS, to ensure products are positioned accordingly.
  • Ensure accurate CRM usage (Salesforce) and reporting across the team.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in roofing, construction materials, or related industry, with prior sales leadership or team management experience preferred.
  • Proven success managing or leading sales teams and delivering against revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of steep slope roofing systems, adhesives, and regional building codes, especially in Miami Dade, FL.
  • Experience working with contractors, distributors, and specification communities.
  • Demonstrated ability to train teams and customers in both field and classroom environments.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to position products effectively against competitors.
  • Polyurethane foam experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Ability to travel ~50%.
