Job Overview

Outside Sales Representative/Account Managers are responsible for growing current client accounts while also pursuing new accounts. You are responsible for generating sales, distributing and promoting all new product lines while keeping clients up to date on current pricing, product changes, and order statuses. You are responsible for meeting and exceeding your sales plan.

Duties

  • Service existing accounts with the goal of nurturing relationships and increasing sales
  • Source new sales opportunities through researching prospects, identifying key players and making outbound cold calls and emails to generate interest
  • Set up new accounts to increase market share and bolster overall sales volume.
  • Set up and maintain client displays and merchandising samples
  • Analyze client product needs, growth patterns, and market trends
  • Promptly and professionally answer and return incoming customer and sales inquires
  • Resolve any client concerns and complaints by developing viable and fair solutions
  • Keep clients informed about new products and offerings
  • Maintain extensive product knowledge overview of all AlysEdwards' product
  • Understand and be able to speak to AlysEdwards' brand
  • Work cooperatively in team environment to help generate sales and provide customer support
  • Daily/weekly communication about sales calls & reporting

Minimum Qualifications

  • Sales experience in either the tile and stone industry, builder industry, or design industry
  • Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Positive attitude, highly motivated and personable
  • Team player who enjoys a challenge
  • Ability to interact with people on all levels, ensuring that all external and internal communication is carried out to a high standard
  • An independent problem solver, resourceful and collaborative
  • Well organized with the ability to be flexible based on the needs of the business
  • Must be a critical thinker and clear communicator
  • Drivers License (must provide current MVR)
  • Flexibility, self-motivation, and drive to meet and exceed sales goals
