Job Description

Bella Tile & Stone is seeking part-time and full-time Sales Associates to join our design team. Located in the heart of downtown Delafield, WI, this is an on-site role in our boutique showroom. Using our extensive collection of tile and stone, you'll create tile designs for a customer base of interior designers, builders, tile contractors, and homeowners โ€” working closely with each client to understand their design preferences and provide customized solutions. You'll also maintain strong product knowledge so you can speak confidently to features and benefits, and you'll see each sale through the full transaction cycle, from the initial design appointment to order placement to delivery or pickup coordination โ€” ensuring accuracy and satisfaction at every touchpoint.

Responsibilities & Requirements

โ€ข       In-store position requiring showroom coverage during store hours, 9:30 a.m.โ€“4:00 p.m.

โ€ข       Collaborate with homeowners, contractors, architects, and interior designers on project details and

deadlines

โ€ข       Create eye-catching, beautiful spaces and recommend solutions that meet space, style, and cost

requirements

โ€ข       Deliver exceptional customer service and consistently exceed expectations

โ€ข       Manage multiple simultaneous customer projects with accuracy, timeliness, and clear, consistent

communication

โ€ข       Work collaboratively with the team, staying organized to manage complex projects from start to

successful completion

โ€ข       Stay current on market trends and design

โ€ข       Learn and memorize the location of all showroom product lines

โ€ข       Coordinate with outside suppliers, vendors, and service providers as needed

โ€ข       Address client and vendor questions and requests via phone, email, and in the showroom


Qualifications

โ€ข       Associate degree or higher, preferably in Interior Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (not required)

โ€ข       Strong work ethic with a drive to exceed expectations

โ€ข       Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative small-business environment

โ€ข       Team player, open to learning and growing from feedback

โ€ข       Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, or SketchUp is a plus, but not required

โ€ข       Previous experience in interior design, retail, or customer service is helpful โ€” we're willing to train the

Compensation

Hourly wage (non-commission), pay commensurate with experience, with room for growth. A discretionary quarterly bonus is available after one year of service, based on overall company net profits and performance.
