Louisville Tile of Fishers is seeking an Account Executive with local market knowledge to cultivate relationships with the Commercial community. This role is an outside sales position. The primary responsibility is to cultivate and expand our customer base within the commercial contractor channel. This role requires a keen understanding of our products and the market combined with excellent sales acumen that will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and achieving sales targets. The Account Executive is responsible for achieving KPIs related to sales activity, product diversification and penetration, customer service, and gross profit to achieve the company's sales targets. This position requires building strong relationships with customers, identify their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial contracting and/or Architectural and Design sector, with a specific focus on tile products.
  • Research, prospect, and develop a robust pipeline of potential customers.
  • Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Nurture existing customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Works collaboratively with A&D sales team and showroom team in order to service customers and leverage results.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our tile product offerings and technical methods.
  • Sales and Product Expertise:
  • Promote and sell our extensive range of tile products to commercial contractors, architects, designers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and educational sessions to highlight the features and benefits of our tiles.
  • Understand client needs and recommend appropriate tile solutions to meet project requirements.
  • Account Management: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Proactively tracks and manage sales activities, leads, and opportunities using Salesforce.
  • Partners with the commercial coordinator role to ensure job status and needs are fully communicated among the team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and timely delivery of products.
  • Secures negotiated projects with commercial contractors and partners with appropriate resources on job complaints to ensure resolution.
  • Networking and Industry Involvement: Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network and represent our company effectively.
  • Actively participate in relevant industry associations and forums to stay updated on industry developments.

Educational or Technical Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred
  • Five or more years of sales experience, preferred
  • Product knowledge and ability to sell consultatively will be required.
  • Utilization and understanding of the company CRM is mandatory.
