Job description

We are looking for an experienced FORKLIFT OPERATOR to join our Lithia Springs, GA plant. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with overtime as needed. We offer competitive benefits and salary, plus up to $1.00/hr increase after 90 days. You will be responsible for ensuring our customers' satisfaction by moving products throughout the production process and maintaining an efficient production process. You will also work closely with all departments in the facility, including Production, Maintenance, and more. Our Forklift Operators are not sitting on a lift throughout the shift - There is frequent movement which includes lifting. You will work in a team environment with an opportunity to advance in your career with Custom Building Products.

About the Role
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain production process by supply or removing product from production lines.
  • Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment
  • Retrieve or put away material using a sit-down industrial forklift.
  • Ensure that all finished product meets quality standard.
  • Ready and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

About You
We Require:
  • Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.
  • Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
  • Proficient using a Forklift as high as five shelves/stacks tall in a warehouse (Driving test will be given at interview).
