Experienced Carpenter – Residential & Commercial Construction


A growing residential and commercial construction company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in remodeling and new construction projects, with a strong understanding of all phases of construction from framing to finish work. Must be willing to travel.


Responsibilities & Qualifications


  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in residential and commercial remodeling and new construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Experience with project estimating and material takeoffs.
  • Proven proficiency in:
    • Framing and finish carpentry
    • Tile installation
    • Drywall installation and repair
    • Roofing and gutters
    • Concrete work
    • Painting
    • Mill work and cabinetry
    • Flooring installation
    • Siding
    • Grading and site preparation
    • Interior and exterior trim work


  • Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is highly preferred.


Requirements:


  • Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices.
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • Must provide and maintain personal hand and power tools required for the job.
