Job description

  1. Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tig Welder / Fabricator to join our dynamic team in Hastings, MI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality aircraft components. Responsibilities
  • Perform TIG welding on various metals, including carbon steel, aluminum and thin wall stainless tubing, ensuring high-quality welds and adherence to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Fabricate metal components and assemblies according to project requirements.
  • Conduct inspections of welds and finished products for quality assurance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet project deadlines.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving fabrication issues as they arise.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a TIG welder and fabricator.
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and equipment.
