The Assistant Nurse Manager directs and supervises nursing care functions and activities for the purpose of ensuring the competent delivery of quality patient care. He/she implements, educates and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public. The Assistant Nurse Manager performs the duties of staff nurse as needed to support the nursing team.

EDUCATION:
Minimum:    Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Preferred:    BSN


EXPERIENCE:
Minimum    Four (4) years as a staff nurse. Previous charge nurse experience preferred.


REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida
BLS, ACLS, Basic EKG, Critical Care Course
TNCC within one year. Optional for TSD
PALS
ENPC. Optional for TICU and TSD
CCRN Preferred for TICU
PCCN Preferred for TISD
CEN or TCRN preferred for ED Resus
