Description
  • Assess patients in either inpatient or outpatient settings, designing tailored treatment regimens.
  • Implement interventions focusing on mobility, strength, balance, and functional improvements.
  • Engage collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehab specialists to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Guide patients and families through therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and at-home exercise routines.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings for coordinated care delivery.
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
Certifications
  • Must hold a state license as a Physical Therapist.
  • Preferred CPR certification.
  • Possession of specialized certifications (examples include neurological or geriatric therapy) is advantageous but not mandatory.
Skills
  • Previous experience with strong preference.
